What is STEAM?

The goal of STEAM education is combination of these subjects; science, technology, engineering, art, and math, integration and show cohesion between all these areas. Not only does STEAM education increase the integration of these seemingly unconnected subjects, but it also allows for the brain to make connections between creative aspects and logical aspects of an assignment. It is my believe that combining these subjects together will not only produce more engaged learners, but also provide a more fruitful learning experience for children.  At Catie’s STEAM Lab, I strive to create easy, budget-friendly, STEAM activities that you can do with your children at home!
